Hi, my name is Miguel and I am an avatar created to tell you about our new educational product: Marketing and Sales Magazine. We are moving from a weekly blog to a monthly magazine. Our future posts will be like this one, a mini informational capsule about what you can find in each issue. We are launching with six fixed sections: Editorial, Cover Story, Article for Students, Article for Professionals, Article for Professors, and the Monthly Case Study. The goal: content written by humans for humans to strengthen critical thinking in the discipline in the age of AI. Our cover story is: Is Marketing Knocked Out by the Impact of AI? Can AI handle marketing and sales? Where is the discipline heading? A reflection that all of us in the field need to make. In From Director to Director, we compiled the best ideas from the American Marketing Association executive seminar in Tampa, Florida, organized exclusively for marketing directors. In the article for students, 7 keynote directors answer: what is your best piece of advice for students graduating in 2026? The article for academia reflects on what to teach today to fulfill our moral and ethical responsibility in the age of AI. This issue closes with the monthly case study: the branding battle between OpenAI, creators of ChatGPT, and Anthropic, creators of Claude, during this year's Super Bowl.
